The John Gastley Scholarship Foundation endeavors to honor the memory of a coach, teacher, classmate, teammate, businessman, friend, husband, father and grandfather– John Gastley through the establishment of a fund-raising mechanism to provide financial support for students to attend Delone Catholic High School.

This scholarship will be Special. It is special in that it provides for full tuition for each selected student for their 4-year career at Delone. A new recipient will be selected each year.

We intend to make this Scholarship Foundation Permanent. To accomplish this objective, we must raise funds well above the annual required expenditure so that the principal amount held becomes self sustaining.

Each year The John Gastley Scholarship Foundation provides one four-year scholarship to attend Delone Catholic High School. The winners, at middle school age, already demonstrated exceptional community outreach along with academic excellence. We have seen those qualities then be carried through their high school tenure as positive peer pressure and on to the whole community.
